BlueForMe, the mobile app offered by your local Blue Cross Blue Shield, provides a secure platform for connecting with a nurse from your Care Team using your smartphone or tablet.

To begin using the app, you will receive an access code from your Care Team. Once you have set up your account, you can easily send messages to receive personalized assistance in managing your health. In addition to this feature, the app also offers a wealth of helpful articles and videos tailored to your specific needs.

With BlueForMe, you can conveniently set reminders for medications and appointments, track your steps and monitor your progress over time. The app also provides personalized health recommendations to support your overall well-being. The best part is that it comes at no additional cost to you.

BlueForMe is compatible with Apple Health for certain care programs, including step count tasks.

However, it is important to consult a doctor before making any medical decisions. The app is primarily designed for educational purposes and as a tool to provide support between healthcare provider visits. If you are enrolled in an eligible care program, you may be able to connect a glucometer to share readings with your care management team.
